-Please remember that IXL is a weekly requirement.  Students can begin acquiring the 30 minutes on the Saturday before the week begins!

-Please check ParentConnect to stay updated with your child’s grades.  I have MANY incomplete assignments from students.  As we are moving faster this semester, it is very easy to get far behind.

-Please make sure your child’s sweaters/jackets are labeled with his/her name.  I have been sending a lot of sweaters to lost and found at the end of the day.

-I have been using PowerSchool email list to send out this newsletter electronically each week.  If you are not receiving it, please let me know ASAP.

-Please continue working on basic multiplication facts on a regular basis.

-PLEASE make sure your child has a working Expo marker.  We use them daily.

-A few reminders:  My lesson plans are always posted on my website by Friday.  Math facts quizzes will be taken every week for the entire year.  Work Folders go home every Wednesday.  All papers that are a 75 or below must be signed and returned, regardless if I write “Sign and Return.” Students can make corrections to assignments that are below 75.  I will usually award extra points.

-Uniform reminder: Students cannot wear field day shirts during the week.  Those shirts are reserved for field trips and field day.

-Work Folder reminder:

PLEASE sign and return all grades that are below a 75.

ALL other papers should be removed from the folder.

-My website is updated every Thursday or Friday with the next week's plans.

-Please continue to encourage your child to practice math facts on a daily

basis.  Mastering multiplication facts is essential to your child’s success in

math this year.

Almost every math concept covered in 4th grade is tied to multiplication.

-Organization is key to a successful year!  Please encourage organizational

skills at home.

-Please go ahead and bookmark my website!  It will be updated weekly.
